Leaky Gutters Got You Down? We Fixed 'Em Up at Clifton Court Farmhouse!

Alright, folks, strap yourselves in, because I've got a tale for you from the beautiful South Devon countryside. We recently rocked up to Clifton Court Farmhouse, a proper stunning old gaff, but it had a bit of a problem: its cast iron gutters were throwing a massive strop.
We're talking leaks galore! Every joint, every outlet – proper weeping. Now, this wasn't down to shoddy work from a few years back; these gutters were proper old, had seen more rain than Noah's Ark, and frankly, they were just worn out. You know, old age and general wear and tear. Plus, with it being a listed building, we couldn't just get stuck in willy-nilly. Had to be careful, respectful of the old girl, like.
So, after a good poke around and a few test pieces – you know, to make sure we didn't mess anything up on the big day – we knew what we had to do. The best way to stop these gutters from becoming a permanent waterfall was to hit them with our secret weapon: the fibreglass FlexiGrp system. This stuff is brilliant, stops any future headaches dead in their tracks.
First things first, we had to get them ready. That meant grinding the surface down, getting rid of all the crud, then a good clean and prime. Gotta make sure that FlexiGrp sticks like glue, eh? Once that was done, we got stuck into applying the FlexiGrp to all the tricky spots: the joints, the corners, and those all-important abutment outlets. Basically, we gave them a brand new, watertight skin.
Now, here's a little extra wrinkle for ya: because the gutter run was so long, water was actually pooling in places. Not ideal, obviously. So, to sort that out, we chucked in a new cast iron outlet, which, you guessed it, also got the full FlexiGrp system treatment. No more standing water, just a nice, clear run-off.
Another job well done by the Quantum Roofing lads. Those gutters at Clifton Court Farmhouse are now watertight and ready for anything the South Devon weather can throw at them!
